Service Rates & Service Area

As an on-site service business, we come to you, or assist remotely. This is more convenient for most clients, and keeps cost down. 

Around 2/3 of problems are resolved with a standard service call. For more complex issues, we will provide a free quote, and then proceed either on-site, or take your device to our workshop. 

If you prefer no visit to your home or office, we can make alternative arrangements to receive your device for repair or upgrade.

Attend your residence or business within our regular service area during normal business hours. Includes up to 30 minute one-way travel time and 30 minute consult, fault-finding, or repair time. Additional time billed at $24.75 per 15 minute block. 

Attend your residence or business within our regular service area outside standard business hours. Includes up to 30 minute one-way travel time and 30 minute consult, fault-finding, or repair time. Additional time billed at $33.00 per 15 minute block. 

For travel to clients outside our regular service area, there will be a one-way travel charge, billed per road km from Melton Post Office. For example, if we travel to your residence in Ballarat, and the one way distance from Melton PO is 75 km, we will charge 75 x $0.88 = $66 - plus time on site as per the above 15 minute block rates.

For larger projects, or to attend your residence or business further away than 200km from Melton Post Office, we charge a daily rate, plus agreed travel expenses. A 50% surcharge for after-hours, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays applies.

Remote support or consult via chat, phone, or online meet during normal business hours. Minimum charge for first 30 minutes, then $22 per 15 minute block.

This applies to repairs and upgrades that would take too long if performed on-site, or would not be possible without workshop equipment.
